One major advantage of Megaproxy's Web SSL VPN service® is that it does not require any locally installed client software or browser plugins. You can rest assured that no destabilizing changes or modifications will be made to your local system. All you have to do is direct your browser to Megaproxy's URL address, login, and start surfing.

The Megaproxy® client-side interface was designed using web standards and technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript. This means that it will run on Windows, Mac, or *nix based computers. The platform for our service is the web browser and not a particular operating system. In order to successfully enjoy the Megaproxy® Web SSL VPN service, your browser must be HTML 4.01 compliant, support JavaScript 1.1, and Cascading Style Sheets Level 1 (CSS1). These are all basic functions employed by modern browser systems.    » READ MORE

Browser Requirements

The minimum browser requirements to access Megaproxy® Web SSL VPN service are Mozilla based browsers, Netscape, or Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 4.x and above. Our service has been tested with Netscape 4.77+, Opera 6.0, and Internet Explorer 5.0+. New versions of these browsers should also work if they support the system requirements noted here. For maximum performance Megaproxy® recommends Microsoft's Internet Explorer 7.0+ (SP2) or Mozilla 3.x+ code browsers. Ex: Firefox browser

Before you access the service, open your browser's system preferences to make sure that SSL encryption and JavaScript are enabled, and that the browser is set to accept cookies (used for login authentication and user preferences). You do not need JAVA JVM plug-in to access the service. To check if your browser supports 128-bit SSL, click your browser's "Help" button to see the strongest supported cipher. Cipher strengths of 40-bit, 56-bit, or 128-bit (the strongest) indicate the encryption level supported by the browser. Here are the instructions to enable cookies and JavaScript:
